The L’bardi driving boots are a modern twist on our iconic driving loafers. Each pair is handmade in our Florence workshop, utilising over 100 individual steps, including hand cutting, hand lasting and hand stitching the upper. The L’bardi driving boot is constructed upon the same softly chiseled last as our iconic driving loafer and utilises the same hand stitching process, the original driving shoe construction technique, patented in 1963. This technique involves involves using two needles and an awl to painstaking hand stitch the vamp while the upper is nailed on the last, creating an enduring and inimitable join.
